MAN CONVICTED OF MULTIPLE SEX CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN, KOLOTV.COM

RENO, NV - The Washoe County DA’s Office has announced the conviction of a man on multiple child sex crimes. 45-year-old Orlando Guzman was convicted of three counts of lewdness with a child under 14 and one count of battery with intent to commit sexual assault under 16. In September 2023, officers with the Reno Police Department learned of an incident of child sex abuse that occurred when the victim was 11 in the spring of 2021. The victim told police that Guzman, who was known to her, had inappropriately touched her and sexually abused her. Guzman will be sentenced on July 1 and faces four life sentences.
